ALYSSA MCDOWELL
Fed up with being in the grasp of societal limitations in February 2020, Alyssa McDowell sat in Barnes in Noble with a friend contemplating how to take charge of her own life. She wondered what she could do, what she could create, that would leave a legacy both for her and others who were wellness-minded. What could she birth that could grow and evolve for years, if not decades to come?
Collecting her inspiration, knowledge, and past experiences with healing her own chronic illnesses, Kind Publishing Co. launched in July that same year. A wellness publication that she envisioned would hold space for all voices from all backgrounds, in which they’d share strategies to find their unique path to wellness, and ultimately their authentic selves.
In 2023, the founder Alyssa, sold the business to Sierra Cheetham who is well equipped to hold the torch. Now, Alyssa is focused on her work as a reiki master healer at OftheEther.com. Here she helps you acknowledge and transform your shadows, while tapping into your personal power, inner strength, and higher self.
